Gale Recycled Nylon Boot with PrimaLoft®

I purchased the blue and the burgundy boots and they are warm and look good, however they fit narrow and I have to wear them with thin socks even when I have thin, small, and narrow feet. Size 6 is always good for me but these boots fit narrow so I would recommend going a size up. Waterproof as always with Cougar!!!

I really like these boots they are warm and comfortable. Should have got them in all Color’s but stuck with the blue.

Great quality shoe and elegant for a boot. I should have read the other reviews first.
For me it wasn't the width, but the length was an issue. Definitely runs small. Normally I am easy to fit and can wear a size 9 in any shoe. But these caused a number of blisters by wearing long hours on first times out. They seem to be stretching out a bit now. But I'd recommend getting at least half a size larger if possible.

This particular model fits very snug. I'm a typical ladies size 9. I have a slim and narrow foot. These boots require that I wear a super thin pair of summer socks, in order for the boots to fit snuggly. Any thicker sock, and the boots are too tight and hurt my toes. Also, any thick socks causes the lining to slip down under your heel and is very uncomfortable.
But with the super thin summer socks, my feet were very comfortable in minus -10C. The boots are very warm.
I wore the boots for 4 hours the first day, outside walking my dog for 1.5 hours and in a mall for 2.5 hours, and they were very comfortable. No breaking in required.
I walk my dog in average 5 kms and have had no issues or blisters.
Great tread and high sole, with a fantastic grip on snow and ice.
Sunday was plus 10C and lots of snow melted into huge puddles.
Monday was minus-1C with lots of snow. So as was walking on the sidewalk, it looked like it was all snow, but I sank up to my ankle in a huge puddle of water.
No leaking, no dampness, no cold sensation. Just a very warm and comfortable boot.
I haven't tried the boots just standing around, like at a bus stop. Nor have I tried them in temperatures below minus -15C.
But I certainly very pleased with these boots.
I would suggest a size larger if you have a thicker or wider foot. Or if you will be wearing thick winter socks. Move up to the next size.

I purchased these boots in the Fall, and have really enjoyed having them this Winter season. They are very warm and waterproof. My previous pair of winter boots were more ankle height, and I knew this time I wanted higher boots for wading through snowbanks etc. These have been great for that. My only observation is they fit a little more snugly than I expected-- I'm usually a size 6.5 or 7, and went for a 7 thinking there would be a littleeee extra wiggle room, but they fit quite snug. I wouldn't be able to wear thick socks with these, however, I don't need to since they're so warm and lined with a sort of knit, so it's not really a problem. Also the blue colour is lovely! Would recommend!
