Fits nice, warm and looks great. Feels sturdy. Loved the separate bags the boots came in.

These have been great footwear to get me through an unpredictable winter.

I had my 1st pair of Cougars (original camel pillow boots) in my teens in the '70s. I replaced them around the turn of the century with another pair that I still wear today when the snow gets a bit deep. I also have a pair of black Cougars that I wear for "dressier" occasions. I decided I wanted an everyday-wear ankle boot and was happy to discover the web site and a sale! I wore the Prescotts for the 1st time today and they are as warm and comfortable as all the others. And if they last as long, I won't have to buy another pair of boots in my lifetime! Cougars are definitely the best winter boots ever. All 4 pair are size 6 so the sizing has remained consistent over the decades. It's my usual size and they fit comfortably with a heavyweight sock.

So, back in the day, I had a pair of Cougar boots. Yellowish leather, square toe, red fur inside and a 2" platform of a rubber sole. These were the best boots I had ever owned. I rid myself of them when the leather became quite a beat up after years of kicking snow piles while waiting for the bus. I regretted that decision ever since! Oh, they were ugly to look at, but oh so warm.
Then something reminded me of those boots and I went on a search. I was so pleased to find Cougar still makes great boots.
The Prescott was the closest match to what I had.
My wife asked how I like my "Myrtle" boots. Laugh all you want, but my feet are finally going to be warm on those dog walks this winter!

I just received my boots. Haven’t had a pair of these since I was a teenager… I’m now nearly 70. The quality is so impressive and they really are made to last.
